What is RSS?
RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added any new content. With RSS (Really Simple Syndication), you can get the latest news headlines in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to actually use your internet browser to visit the websites you have subscribed to the feed from.
Simply put, the RSS feeds are a kind of webpage, designed to be read by computers rather than people. Developers can also use RSS feeds to pull MoneywebTax's content on to their websites. It's an easy way for you to be alerted when content that interests you appears on our site.
In order to subscribe to our RSS feeds, you'll need something called a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any of the new stories or headlines that have been added, with a clickthrough to the full story on MoneywebTax.
Getting an RSS reader
There are many different kinds of RSS readers. Some you can access through your browser (the latest version of Internet Explorer (version 7) and Firefox have RSS readers built in). Downloadable programs are also available. Other readers also exist on the internet (like Google Reader) - these allow you to sign in to your reader (like webmail), allowing you to catch up with your RSS feeds from any computer in the world.
MoneywebTax suggests these RSS readers:
